well it looks like the movie update of Red Sonja is further along than I thought.  The She-Devil with a sword will be played by Rose McGowan (Planet Terror) and judging from the posters its looking pretty sweet.

Netherlands' Roy Beerens (right) got a little grabby with Belgium's Sebastien Pocognoli (left) during a match in Gent earlier today.

THAT'S A MAN OFFSIDE!

Dayum! maybe spandex undershorts would be a good idea when playing against that team again.

Conan: The Barbarian and Conan: The Destroyer has got to be one of the greatest film franchises of my childhood.  So when I read the news this morning that Djimon Hounsou has been cast as the new Thulsa Doom, the 12 year old inside me got all excited.

Here's the goods.  Threre are new remakes of both Conan and Red Sonja in the works, as well as a Thulsa Doom spin-off which would show the characters early years and his growth into the snake-transforming-into Scorcerer that was decapitated by our favorite barbarian.

If you're a Video Gamer then you've probably played a Max Payne game at some point.  The franchise is known as the originator of elements like "Bullet Time" and launching your character around the room guns a blazin', that have been copied so many times since in other titles.

The "Walkstation".  A New product that could help employees keep up their energy and burn a few pounds without having to hit the gym on their lunch breaks.

Ahh Science.  Isn't Science great! its an excuse to indulge any odd whim and call it "research" and be respected for it. Plus, anyone can call themselves a scientist! you don't even need an education - just a willingness to experiment.

Of course that could get us down a road I'm not looking to travel at the moment so lets get back on point...

If you gave a Rubiks Cube to an Octopus - could it figure it out?  That's Science baby.  Check this out

"Marine experts have given 25 octopuses a Rubik's Cube each in a study aimed at easing their stress levels in captivity.

Scientists believe the intelligent sea creatures have a preferred arm out of eight that they use to feed and investigate with.

They are now testing this theory with a month-long observation project in which the octopuses will be given food and toys to play with."
