2008 could be a real contender for best summer of the year. One reason that comes to mind is that The Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Begins hits theaters on MY BIRTHDAY.
I have no doubt its gonna be the biggest movie of the Summer. You've heard all about Heath Legers Joker, Christian Bale back as Batman, but don't forget this guy... Aaron Eckhart is an awesome actor and he's just as important as those other two. Still don't know why? Here's a clue from the teaser posters...

The Veteran Rockers - back in the original line-up and their first new album since "New Tattoo" back in 2000. These guys are back in a big way.
Shinedown - The Sound of Madness
These guys have been impressive since they first hit the scene and just keep getting better. "Devour" is the first single and can be heard on the Goat.

George Carlin passed away this weekend at the age of 71. We of course will never forget his "seven words you can't say on Television" which of course applies to Radio as well, but I though you might want to get into the differences between two of our favorite sports.

Brett Michaels - Rock my World
This preening pretty boy is the star of "Rock of Love with Brett Michaels" season one and unbelievably - Season two as well (which totally takes away from the legitimacy of the shows premise but whatever). If you're a huge Poison fan and you can't get enough of BM then you're in luck.
Rev Theory - Light It Up
Great up and coming post-grunge band and their Sophmore album. If you've heard their first single "Hell Yeah" you kinda get what they're all about.

I'm a big TV fan but sorry to say, I'm not usually a fan of Canadian programming. No offense to you Corner Gas lovers but stuff like Davinci's inquest, Cold Squad, and stuff like "Intelligence" doesn't really turn my crank.

I just caught the first few episodes of a new show called "Durham County" and I gotta say its not bad. Apparently there are only six episodes in the can but here's the official premise:

So we just added the new Danko Jones single "Take me Home" to the Goat airwaves - tune in at about 4:25 this afternoon to hear its debut - but I must warn you its not your typical balls to the wall rock your face off kinda rock that we expect time and again from Danko Jones. I guess its the closest thing to a "Ballad" that you can get from the guy, but don't worry it still has that "Rock" feel.

Ahh another Tuesday. That means new movies, games and Cd's are available for mass consumption. Gonna talk albums here and the first is one I have been waiting anxiously for...
Disturbed - Indestructible
Just Look at that dude - He's totally BAD ASS! the first single is great too, "Inside the Fire" will Rock your face clean off.
Also out today is Weezer's "The Red Album" its actually called "Weezer" but really the color identifies the album. Pork and Beans is the first single from this one and its another great track. This was actually supposed to come out three weeks from now but after practically the whole album got leaked on-line the band decided to put it out right away and minimize the damage.
