What a differene a few days can make. Perhaps we have found spring. Only about a month until the best football team in the land takes the field in Regina, which should be about the same time the Stanley Cup is handed out due to the lockout. The mighty MLB team the Blue Jays, whom everyone said was a championship team without a doubt, has struggled, so I predict now, that once again the post season in baseball is a long shot for our Jays.

Here are predictions for the first round just to prove I did ok followed by round #2

Now on to the currnet NHL playoffs. A canucks team which are like Orca, will be eaten by Sharks in a 4 game sweep. Boston (and Lloyd's very own Wade Redden) will give the Leaf's(and lloyd's very own Clarke Mcaurther) an early exit in their first playoff in 9 years, they will not make it out of round 1. Ottawa over Montreal, I just can't cheer for Montreal. Washington (and Lloyd's very own Braden Holtby) will dispatch of the New York Rangers. So many times a cup winner sputters in the next year so I am Picking St Louis over LA and as much as I have a soft spot for a guy like Iginla for all he is done, I do not believe in buying a team and believe in fact that this will fail and the Islanders will win this series. The Wild just don't have the legs to beat the speed and firepower of Chicago so Chicago it is. And as much as Anaheim is a powerhous, Detroit can be a playoff team, so this one is tough but Detroit will come though. There they are. Bucky's picks that are probably off the mark, but they are what they are.

Round #2 Pitsburgh in #6 San Jose in #6 Chicago in #6 Boston (GO WADE REDDEN SUCK IT TORTS!!) Boston in #6. I hope that Karma wins for our local boy @waderedden6
