Robin Prebble

Hi from the newsroom!

I am happy to be here in Lloydminster surrounded by a great herd of people, and look forward to leaving my hoof-prints here at the Goat.

I was born in Ontario, grew up in New Brunswick, and spent the last thirteen years in Ontario before moving to Lloydminster. A few years ago I decided to go back to school and pursue a childhood dream of working in radio and here I am!

In my spare time I like to build robots out of toothpicks, and portage across people's lawns with a birch-bark canoe while dressed in full deerskin clothing and a faux-raccoon fur cap. I also enjoy singing "Seven Nation Army" while gargling mint-flavoured, fluoride-infused, ham and egg reinforced Scope (it’s only available in Ontario.)

I am pretty happy to be working for a rock station. There is only so much Britney Spears and Justin Bieber human ear drums can take before they explode in an attempt to save themselves from a slow and painful death. That's a fact because I just said it and I am a credible newsman.

Thanks for tuning in, and please feel free to give the Lloydminster and District Co-op News Tipline a call at 870-875-7770 if you've got some news you think people would like to know about.

Cheers!
