Countdown to Valentine's: 5 Days...

Oh boy! Being single on a day dedicated to love... Not sure how I feel about it, but it IS my night off - so that's a good start! Reading up on the 14th has left me with the idea that V-Day involves a lot of old dead guys named Valentine, and the obvious: it's a day dedicated to "courtly love." I think that means PDA will be tolerated on Tuesday, so haters be warned!

 

I'm at a crossroads with how I'll spend my Valentine's Day/eve. I will be bartending all day, and I'm wondering if I should ask to work a split so I can also work the night shift. That way I'll be spending V-Day with my friends instead of alone.

Then again, I love myself a lot so maybe I'll take myself on a date! Weird? Yeah, I'm weird. Haha. This time last year I went on a date with a whole tattoo shop for V-Day (calm down, I was only in love with the ONE of them). His co-workers were single and wanted to join us. It's a day for love, not specifically for lovers.

I have heard many pro's & con's to being single on Valentine's Day, and I'm stickin' with the bright side. How about you?
