Drugs Seizure in North Battleford

North Battleford RCMP have charged a 38-year-old woman with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possesion of proceeds of crime following an investigation by the Geneal Investigation Section.

On the evening of June 18, 2012, the North Battleford Provincial GIS, with the assistance of the Municipal GIS and Municipal Detachment, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on a residence on the 1200 block of 99th Street in North Battleford. As a result of the investigation, police seized marijuana and paraphernalia relating to its packaging and sale, cocaine, and cash, as evidence to demonstrate drug trafficking from the residence.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on July 12, 2012.
